At BIO BEAN, our mission extends beyond recycling coffee waste — we’re committed to creating innovative solutions that benefit both people and planet. In our efforts to reduce, reuse and repurpose excessive waste streams, we have partnered with three community-based projects who transform our used coffee plastic bags into meaningful, useful products.
Our Commitment to Community
These talented local makers craft cooler bags, lunch bags and a range of everyday carry items, using the very materials that would otherwise end up in landfill. Through this initiative, 100% of the proceeds remain with them, helping finance their livelihoods, grow their micro-businesses, and support their families.

We partner with a skilled seamstress who turns our repurposed coffee-bag material into unique handmade bags — cooler bags, lunch bags and more.
This collaboration reduces waste, supports local talent, and ensures that every cent from each sale goes directly to her business.
